007 First Light — Story, Platforms, Cast, and Current Answers

007 First Light is a released, single-player third-person action-adventure from IO Interactive. It launched globally on May 27, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC, with a $69.99 US Steam list price checked September 3. Its Nintendo Switch 2 edition is not available at this check. IOI's FAQ still shows a summer 2026 window, but that window has passed without a replacement date.

What kind of Bond game is it?

First Light tells an original origin story about a young James Bond before he becomes the established 007. IOI describes a “creative approach” structure that brings together third-person combat, stealth, driving, gadgets, and social or environmental problem-solving. That explains the range of options; it does not prove that every mission accepts every approach.

The cast is led by Patrick Gibson as Bond, with Priyanga Burford as M, Alastair McKenzie as Q, Kiera Lester as Moneypenny, and Lennie James as John Greenway. IOI also announced Noemie Nakai, Gemma Chan, and Lenny Kravitz in named roles. Use the cast page for the complete confirmed list without mixing performers with cameo promotions.

Current release boundary

Steam displays May 26 in some regions because of global unlock timing, while IOI's launch announcement uses May 27 as the global launch date. This site uses the developer's date and notes the store difference rather than presenting them as two releases.

The PC minimum lists 16 GB RAM, a GTX 1660 or RX 5700, an SSD, and 80 GB free. The official 1080p/60 Medium target lists an RTX 3060 Ti or RX 6700 XT. Higher 1440p, 4K, and Ultra targets are separated on the requirements page. No generic “runs well” claim belongs here without test hardware, settings, frame-time evidence, and a version.

IO Interactive's current patch list identifies version 1.1.1, dated August 27 and posted August 28, 2026, as the newest listed game update. It addresses selected stability and achievement issues; it does not support a blanket performance claim. Why there is no fake complete walkthrough here

Search demand for walkthroughs and safe codes is real, but a search phrase is not evidence of the answer. Mission routes, code locations, and alternate outcomes should become separate pages only after the exact released mission has been played or corroborated with primary evidence. The hub gives verified orientation now and leaves unsupported instructions unpublished.
