CLASS GUIDE
TBH Classes — Base Stats, Weapons, Skills and Starter Choice
Stop reading tier letters without context. Compare the six heroes by job, base stats, weapon pair, and the skill package your account can actually use.
TBH Classes: use the class that fixes your current failure
“Best class” is too vague to be useful. TBH classes differ in base durability, attack speed, weapons, skill trees, and access. The table below is a reference snapshot from the community database, which says its values are extracted from the game. It is not an official developer balance sheet, so use it to choose a test, then trust your in-game tooltip.
Six-class reference
| Class | Job | Main / off-hand | Base HP | Base Armor | Base attack speed | Access | | --- | --- | --- | ---: | ---: | ---: | --- | | Knight | Tank | Sword / Shield | 130 | 45 | 0.90/s | Starter | | Ranger | Ranged DPS | Bow / Arrow | 60 | 8 | 1.00/s | Starter | | Sorcerer | Elemental / area damage | Staff / Orb | 50 | 5 | 0.90/s | Starter | | Priest | Healer / support | Scepter / Tome | 95 | 30 | 0.90/s | Free DLC; check client | | Hunter | Specialist DPS | Crossbow / Bolt | 70 | 15 | 0.90/s | Paid DLC; check store | | Slayer | Melee DPS / party utility | Axe / check client | 115 | 40 | 0.90/s | Paid DLC; check store |
The numbers are level-1 base values with no gear. They explain the jobs: Knight starts with the most HP and Armor; Ranger starts with the highest listed attack speed; Priest has enough durability to function in the front or middle while supporting the team.
The two sensible first picks
Knight: the forgiving start
Choose Knight when your first priority is finishing stages without babysitting the formation. The useful early path is durability first, then a damage button when you have spare skill points.
- Tier 1:
Health Enhancement; useShield Chargewhen you need a burst hit, orPiercing Thrustfor a cheaper damage test. - Tier 2:
Armor EnhancementandHP Regen Enhancementare the defensive checks before pushing harder stages. - When Knight is the right answer: the front hero dies before your back line has time to work.
- When to replace the plan: you clear safely but lose too much time to bosses; add a focused damage class rather than stacking more armor.
Ranger: the fast-clear start
Choose Ranger when you want to clear early waves quickly and are willing to protect a fragile back line. Her base profile is low HP/Armor but high attack speed and crit damage.
- Tier 1:
Attack Speed Enhancementis the cleanest first passive;Rapid FireandScatter Shotare the first active choices. - Tier 2:
Critical Chance Enhancement,Critical Damage Enhancement, andArrow Rainpush her from single-target pressure into wave control. - Gear direction: Bow + Arrow; prioritize Attack Speed, then Crit Chance/Crit Damage when the item actually improves her output.
- When Ranger is the right answer: your team survives but stages take too long.
- When she is the wrong answer: she dies before Priest or a frontline can hold contact.
Priest: the free account multiplier
Priest is not valuable because her personal DPS is the highest. She is valuable because her skill slots can solve two different failures:
Healfor a push where the party dies;Blessing Of Mightfor a farm where the party survives but lacks damage;Cooldown ReductionandSkill Heal Enhancementonce the support loop is established;Sanctuarylater when you need a stronger area sustain tool.
The community database lists Scepter + Tome and level-1 base HP 95 / Armor 30. Claim the free Steam DLC first; if the in-game screen still shows a coin or unlock prompt, follow the client’s current requirement rather than assuming a guide’s wording is universal.
Sorcerer, Hunter and Slayer: add them for a job
| Class | Add it when… | First question to answer |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Sorcerer | groups reach the frontline together | Do waves die before the boss timer matters? |
| Hunter | you have a specialist weapon or need a different damage profile | Does the dropped gear make Hunter better than your current carry? |
| Slayer | you want frontline pressure plus a party utility skill | Does the party benefit more from Commander's Cry than from Knight's durability? |
Do not buy a paid class to replace an untested gear problem. Run the same stage with the same formation, change one class, and record clear time plus deaths.
A practical skill-testing rule
Skill tiers unlock as you spend points: current data lists Tier 2 at 10 points, Tier 3 at 20, and so on. Do not wait for a “perfect build” before spending early points. Test the skill that matches the wall, and reset if the result is worse; current player guides report that skill refunds are free.
