Halloween: The Game is out digitally on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and Epic Games Store. The September 4 Deluxe early-access period has ended, the worldwide digital launch happened September 8, and the official launch build includes Day One Patch 1.0.1. Physical PS5 and Xbox Series X editions follow on October 6.

Patch 1.0.1: what changed at launch

The official out-now post identifies 1.0.1 as the Day One Patch. Its most practical changes are:

• crossplay party members should now follow the party leader into matchmaking instead of returning to the main menu or dropping from the party;
• Police and Resident NPC pathing received fixes for stuck states and Escape routes;
• additional challenge and achievement tracking problems were fixed;
• civilian stamina and Michael's Evil Presence pressure were rebalanced by Athleticism range;
• Civilians now discover Escapes from farther away.

These are official patch notes, not a claim that every launch issue is resolved. If a crossplay party still breaks, record platform, party leader platform, and build before reporting it; older early-access clips describe a pre-1.0.1 state.

September 8 US unlock times

The official launch post is the source for the 9 AM Pacific unlock. It is more precise than storefront countdown estimates or media conversion tables. That time has passed; preorder bonuses tied to the launch cutoff should not be described as currently available.
